How the site is built
coffeelover is a set of static pages served by Cloudflare. There are no accounts, no forms, no comments and no email list, so there is nothing for you to fill in and nothing for the site to keep.
The calculator and the drawings work inside the page. What you set there is gone when you close the tab. There is no database here to put it in, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Cookies and visit counting
Visits are counted with Google Analytics. There is no advertising.
Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_0SYQQ0E3HK, so that a return visit is not counted as a new visitor. They expire after two years. The count records which pages were opened, the page that sent you here, the type of device, and roughly where the visit came from, which Google works out from your internet address. It does not record what you set in the calculator or anything else you choose on a page.
In Europe a banner asks first, and Google's code is not loaded until you press Accept. As a second safeguard, Google itself sets no cookie for visitors from the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland until they accept. Elsewhere, counting starts when the page opens.
Your answer to the banner is kept in your browser, so the banner does not come back. To change it, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Declining also deletes the Analytics cookies.
There is no advertising on any page. If advertising is ever added, this page will say so before it appears, will name the provider, and will explain exactly what that provider does.
What stays in your browser
The site keeps two small notes in your browser's local storage. This site never sends them anywhere.
coffeelover.consent holds your answer to the cookie banner.
noga is used only by the site's owner, on her own devices, so that her own visits are not counted. It is never set for visitors.
Children, and your rights
This site is not directed at children and asks nobody for personal details. The visit counts described above are held by Google, not by this site, and are not tied to a name or an email address. To stop them, decline on the banner or block cookies in your browser.
If this ever changes, the change will be described here in the same plain words, with the date it took effect.
